For several years now, a number of our leaders has been tirelessly working together to create a truly festive atmosphere at the 26th Scout Headquarters. This year, we’re as excited as ever to continue this tradition. We can confirm our outdoor Christmas lights our twinkling away and available for you and your family to admire the festive atmosphere. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Digital Age Events for once again generously donating the dazzling lights, and we’re equally grateful to the SEND Group for their valuable contribution towards covering the electricity bill.
At the heart of our efforts lies a deep commitment to the Scouting movement and the young members of our community who benefit from it. Our Scout Headquarters serves as a vital hub for the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and the District Explorer Group, providing them with a safe and enriching space for their weekly activities. However, we recognise that with the ever-increasing economic challenges, the cost of maintaining and improving our headquarters is on the rise. This is why our Christmas Lights has an Appeal this year. Our goal is to unite our community in support of the 21st-century vision we have for our headquarters.
