Scouts

Our Scout Troop consists of boys and girls aged 10 1/2 to 14 years.  It meets on Friday evenings.

The cornerstone of the Scout Troop is the Patrol System.  A Scout is first and foremost a member of a Patrol.  It is in this Patrol that the majority of the activities take place.

The programme available to our Scout Troop is wide and is a balance of physical, intellectual, spiritual and social activities. These are lively, challenging and interesting and are designed to impart the skills required for the culmination of each year’s work; the summer camp.  The summer camp includes activities such as camping, hiking, canoeing, climbing, horse riding, swimming and usually a trip to a cinema and a meal out.
