Welcome back to our Family Camp, where we share the incredible adventures and cherished memories made during our unforgettable camping experience. Day 3 brought us a fantastic lineup of activities. Let’s dive into the highlights of the day!
Breakfast and Scouts Own: We started the day off on a delicious note with a satisfying breakfast that energised us for the adventures that lay ahead. Fuelled and ready, we gathered for a special section of Scouts Own, a meaningful gathering where we celebrated our shared values and the incredible spirit of our Scouting community. It was a beautiful moment of reflection and unity, creating memories that will stay with us for a lifetime. We even had time for a little sing song!
Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting: Next on our agenda was an activity that tested our aim and precision: laser clay pigeon shooting. With guidance from experienced instructors, we stepped up to the challenge, honing our target-shooting skills. Laughter filled the air as we cheered each other on and celebrated our achievements. It was a true bonding experience, fostering camaraderie among families and leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment.
It’s a Knockout : As the day progressed, we embarked on an exciting adventure with the much-anticipated It’s a Knockout course, Lead by Jane and Cliff. This obstacle course pushed us to our limits, both physically and mentally. From tough challenges to difficult obstacles, we laughed, strategised, and worked together as teams, conquering the course with determination and team spirit. The sheer excitement and joy radiating from every participant were contagious, making it an unforgettable highlight of the camp.
Closing Ceremony and Prize Giving: As our Family Camp journey drew to a close, we gathered one final time for the solemn yet uplifting closing ceremony. With heartfelt gratitude, we acknowledged the efforts and achievements of all the campers. Prizes were awarded to those who showcased their creativity and competitiveness in the Beetle Drive and It’s a Knockout competitions. The smiles of the winners reflected the spirit of friendly competition and the bonds formed during our time together.
Day 3 of our Family Camp was a whirlwind of adventure, camaraderie, and celebration. From the inspiring Scouts Own gathering to the precision of laser clay pigeon shooting and the It’s a Knockout course, every moment was filled with laughter, shared experiences, and the joy of being part of a close-knit community.
